Operation Encore is pleased to announce a special Veteran's Day release by OE artist Andrew Wiscombe . A former sniper, Andrew wrote this song on Memorial Day to serve as an authentic version of the typical patriotic war song. Thanks to our fan's generous donations, we were able to record the song this October after Andrew played it live during our concert at the Throckmorton Theater in Mill Valley, CA. An incredible storyteller, Andrew's song will make a deep impression that will stay with you.

Special thanks to the Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley, CA, where the live video was shot, and AR Studios in San Francisco, CA, where the song was recorded.

Andew Greene St Promo.jpg

Operation Encore is pleased to announce that OE veteran Andrew Wiscombe will release his new album “A Green Street Manifesto” on August 20th. Operation Encore is proud to be a small part of Andrew’s journey as a veteran artist. As a thank you to his fans, Andrew has made one of the songs, “Places and Faces” available for download for free. Andrew was featured on OE’s second compilation album with his single “The River, the Lark, the Pine”. A former punk rocker and army veteran, Andrew refers to himself as a “foot-stompin'”street musician, a one-man-band equipped with a guitar, suitcase drum, harmonica and foot tambourine. In short, if you are a fan of legendary Americana songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and Ryan Adams, and others like them, Andrew Wiscombe is a must have for your collection. It’s near impossible to listen to Andrew’s music and keep from smiling. Look for his new album on all the regular sites on August 20th. View the one-page press release here.
